Resetting Admin Password

How can I reset an Admin user's password?

To reset an admin user’s password, you must first find the user by using the Reset Admin User Password Search screen. There are two ways to search for users

  1. Click Search without entering any information to get a list of all Admin Users

  2. Enter as much information as you know about the User and click Search to get a list of Admin Users who match your search criteria.

Click the Username for the Admin User whose password you would like to reset. If you would like to modify or refine your search, click the Back button to return to the search screen.

The next screen displays the Shared Secret Question and Shared Secret Answer this Admin User provided the first time they logged into the system. For verification purposes, have the Admin User answer the Shared Secret Question. If they answer the question correctly, click Reset Password to generate a single use password for this Admin User. Otherwise, click Cancel to return to the main menu.

The next screen displays the Username and new single-use Password for this user. This information will be emailed to the user if their profile includes an email address. If the user does not have an email address, please make sure to provide the new password to the user in a secure manner. The user will be required to change their password the first time they log in with this new single-use password.
